      Description

      Position Summary: Under the direction of the Engineering Manager, the Manufacturing Engineer will plan, direct, and coordinate production and process improvement activities. This role requires a hands-on approach with significant time spent on the factory floor. Key Responsibilities: • Provide technical support for shop floor layout, production, tooling, and equipment to achieve performance goals. • Audit shop floor practices to ensure compliance with SOPs and safety policies. • Collaborate with maintenance personnel to enhance machine maintenance, problem-solving, and continuous improvement. • Coordinate activities to meet production schedules. • Lead process and systems improvements, and standardize manufacturing processes. • Justify, acquire, and install new equipment and processes. • Improve plant layout and process design for optimal flows and ergonomics. • Evaluate part routings, methods, and standards to achieve production targets. • Establish accurate standards for cost reflection in product pricing. • Resolve design issues for new jobs and ensure correct manufacturing instructions. • Adhere to company policies and applicable laws. • Proactively contribute to departmental initiatives.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      Requirements: • Proficiency in CAD and 3D modeling. • Ability to read and understand customer prints and drawings. • Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools. • Experience with ERP systems preferred. • Welding experience is a bonus. • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. • Experience in a job shop or metalworking environment is beneficial. Working Conditions: • Exposure to both office and manufacturing environments. • Frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and exposure to outdoor conditions, heat, loud noise, and moving mechanical parts. • Use of personal protective equipment such as safety goggles and hearing protection. • Occasional travel may be required.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $115000.00/yr.

      - The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills, This position maybe eligible for bonus and/or long term incentive compensation awards
