- Design and Optimize : Develop and improve manufacturing processes, ensuring optimal use of resources and the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
- Software Skills : Ability to plan engineering projects, program lasers and other machinery like laser cutters, press brakes, etc.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams : Work closely with production teams, quality assurance, and project management to develop solutions that enhance product quality and production efficiency.
- Implement New Technologies : Research and incorporate cutting-edge technologies and processes to improve manufacturing capabilities and streamline operations.
- Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues : Analyze and resolve manufacturing challenges in real-time, offering solutions that improve overall performance and reduce downtime.
- Conduct Data Analysis : Use data-driven approaches to monitor and improve production processes, identify areas for improvement, and ensure smooth operation of systems.
- Create Documentation : Develop clear, concise process documentation, work instructions, and SOPs for production teams.
- Drive Continuous Improvement : Lead initiatives to enhance product quality, production timelines, and cost-efficiency.
- Process Expertise : Proven experience in manufacturing engineering, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tools, and technologies.
- Problem-Solving Mindset : Ability to identify challenges and develop creative solutions to improve production systems and processes.
- Technical Proficiency : Familiarity with CAD software, ERP systems, and other manufacturing tools. Knowledge of automation and smart manufacturing is a plus.
- Collaboration Skills : Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptability : Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to evolving environments.
- Detail-Oriented : Ability to review complex data and technical specifications to ensure precision and consistency.
- Education : Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Experience : Minimum 3 years in manufacturing engineering, focusing on process optimization, troubleshooting, and technology implementation.
- Skills : Ability to program machines like Hurco, write G-code for machining, and use PEP.
- Certifications : Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or similar certifications are advantageous.
