- Process Improvement: Analyze and refine manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Cycle Time Reduction: Streamline production workflows and introduce automation to minimize cycle times.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all fabrication processes meet quality standards and collaborate with the quality control team to address issues.
- Manufacturability Enhancement: Work with design and engineering teams to ensure products are designed for ease of fabrication and assembly.
- Cost Reduction: Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality.
- Training and Development: Train production staff on new processes and technologies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Required experience: 1-3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process optimization.
- Active user of: Windows, MS Office incl. Excel (A), Word (A), PowerPoint (A), AutoCAD;
- Proficient modeling skills required, preferred: Revit, Inventor

Vertiv is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer in Ironton, OH to play a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our production processes, focusing on welding, coil fabrication, pre-fabrication, and other fabrication areas. This role is essential for improving manufacturability, reducing cycle times, and optimizing processes to ensure high-quality output and cost efficiency.
