Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This role is essential in bridging design and production by validating concepts, developing prototypes, and ensuring smooth transitions into manufacturing. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our products meet high standards of quality, performance, and manufacturability.
Key Responsibilities
-Collaborate with design teams to review and validate product concepts, ensuring they meet technical and manufacturing requirements.
-Develop and document fabrication protocols for prototypes, including detailed instructions for assembly, testing, and validation.
-Lead First-of-Kind builds, coordinating with design, production, quality, and process engineering teams to ensure alignment and timely execution.
-Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including work instructions, process flow diagrams, and validation reports.
-Ensure all prototypes meet quality standards through rigorous testing and analysis, and transfer validated processes to the process engineering team for production setup.
-Support continuous improvement initiatives by applying Lean Manufacturing principles and identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and product quality.
Skills & Experience
-Experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
-Familiar with ISO 9001/AS9100 standards and safety protocols.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
-Experience in metal fabrication and assembly.
-Experience in switchgear design/manufacturing is a plus.
Education
-Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
-3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $110000.00/hr.
