- Req#: 106129
- Identify and lead capital investment projects.
- Lead line balancing activities to ensure proper workflow and labor distribution.
- Lead team(s) to address quality issues by utilizing root cause analysis and mistake proofing by gathering and analyzing data; working with design, tooling, advanced technologies, maintenance and other functional areas to resolve issues.
- Create and maintain work instructions and graphical work instruction delivery.
- Work with SAP, MPPlanner, and JDAAT (MES) to perform engineering functions
- 3 or more year(s) experience with shop floor documentation (Sequence of Events, Labor Standards, and Operator Methods Sheets( OMS) and Line Balancing (DLBT)
- 2 or more year(s) knowledge of capital justification and budgeting.
- 3 or more year(s) demonstrated ability to work with the wage workforce and many levels of the salary staff.
- 2 or more year(s) experience with line design, material presentation, cycles of imbalance.
- 3 or more year(s) experience with tooling design and CAD modeling.
- 2 or more year(s) working in a union represented factory.
- Experience in Dynamic Line Balancing Tools (DLBT)
- Knowledge of incentive pay systems
- Experience with MPPlaner for SOE development
- Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing/Industrial/Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology.
- 5 years of experience in the position.
