      Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

      Job Description

      As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a critical role in evaluating and enhancing production processes. You will analyze production schedules, methods, and data, providing management with insightful reports to better understand manufacturing requirements. Your expertise will ensure compliance with equipment requirements and optimize manufacturing efficiency.

      Responsibilities

      • Evaluate production processes and recommend improvements.
      • Analyze production schedules, methods, and data, and provide reports to management.
      • Ensure compliance with equipment requirements and limitations.
      • Review and calculate labor, material, and production costs.
      • Assist management in decision-making by analyzing schedules and future production requirements.
      • Plan workflow, equipment placement, and space requirements to improve efficiency.
      • Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair services, ensuring manufacturer’s procedures are followed.
      • Eliminate waste and apply innovative systems to improve workflows.
      • Optimize production programs for labor balance and stocking needs.
      • Provide flexible program offerings across multiple machines.
      • Ensure traceability and repeatability through ERP communications.
      • Troubleshoot program challenges and reduce product inconsistencies.
      • Develop fixtures for program applications and manage fixture assets.
      • Problem-solve and communicate effectively with the team.
      • Contribute ideas for continuous improvement of workflow and processes.

      Essential Skills

      • Expertise in metal fabrication, stainless steel, and sheet metal processes.
      • Experience in welding, welding engineering, and robotic welding.
      • Proficiency in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices.
      • Ability to conduct FEA analysis and manage capital projects.
      • Experience with ERP systems, VISIO, and AutoCAD.
      • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and calculations such as cycle times and takt times.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
