      The Opportunity ...

      A&B Process Systems, located in Stratford, WI is an industry leader in the design, fabrication, automation and installation of stainless steel process systems used in a variety of industries.

      As our Manufacturing Engineer– you will plan, direct and coordinate manufacturing processes in the plants; respond to manufacturing issues and concerns to insure products are produced to specifications and according to manufacturing schedules while insuring efficient use of resources.

      On a given day, you may:

      • Develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing methods.
      • Analyze manufacturing process flows for enhancement of quality, cost reduction, and throughput.
      • Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
      • Determine the processes, identify the materials and supplies to be used and design and build appropriate fixtures necessary for efficient manufacturing.
      • Recommend and facilitate creation of new stock items based on cost benefit analysis.

      Requirements for the role

      Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering preferred with 1 – 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience required; preferably in an engineer to order environment. 1 or more years of experience creating fixtures and tooling for welded products and proficiency in creating standard operating procedures and work instructions preferred.

      Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and Theory of Constraints continuous improvement practices and a background in a stainless steel fabrication industry a plus. AutoCAD and facilitation/project management skills preferred.

      You should enjoy working with people, grasp modern technology quickly, and be willing to improve the our goals by demonstrating competence in relevant subject areas and a willingness to be helpful.
