  Job Description:

  An opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineering Development has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid).

  
  RESPONSIBILITIES
  The main tasks of the jobholder will be:
  Developing and updating technology plans within the technology platforms or generic technology area.
  Lead or Support Industrial Research projects.
  Lead or Support Industrial Development projects.
  Ensure Dissemination of new technologies through support and network.
  Provide a technology route map ping and updating technology plans within the technology platforms or generic technology area.
  Inputs:
  • New Technologies requirements
  • Strategy from Airbus
  • External R&T and technology landscape.
  Output:
  • Harmonious technology route map aligned with Plants/FALs
  • Technology inputs to MFTs
  • Some standardization activities and ownership of some technical standards

  - Education: Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
  - Experience in similar roles
  - Soft skills: High adaptability to work on new topics, new business and in a networking mode.
