Lead a team of Execution Engineers in setting objectives, managing results, and evaluating/coaching individual and team performance

Train, develop, and evaluate team members
Participate in the selection of new employees
Serve as the communication bridge between Product Engineering, PPO Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, and Manufacturing organizations
Utilize standard work as defined by GPS Process of Manufacturing Engineering (PoME) to execute program deliverables
Provide technical and program management assistance to achieve program requirements
Oversee the process development, building construction, equipment installation, debug, runoff, validation, and continuous improvement activities required to successfully launch the program
Meet program targets and metrics (Safety, Timing, Budget, and Quality)
Provide program capital forecast, tracking, and reporting post equipment delivery
Track and report program status using agile framework, program launch reviews, and leadership reviews
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
Minimum 10 years of Manufacturing experience
Proven desire and ability to lead and coach the performance of direct reports
Demonstrated program execution experience
Proven ability in project management skills and ability to teach others
Proven technical knowledge and ability in process engineering disciplines (machining, assembly, test, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and significantly complex projects and assignments with highest level of autonomy and accountability for results
Demonstrate excellent level of analytical ability, communication and interpersonal skills required to build relationships with team members and customers to identify and resolve issues
Master’s degree in a technical or managerial discipline
Demonstrated GPS ME program execution experience
Proven engine processing knowledge
Proven knowledge and experience utilizing an agile methodology (scrum and sprint framework)

The GM Global Propulsion Systems (GPS) ME Team is driving GM’s vision of Zero Crashes, Zero Emissions, and Zero Congestion by ensuring the manufacturing processes and systems we develop and implement throughout this journey support this vision and provide a manufacturing competitive advantage. A key enabler and bridge to this vision is for GM to grow its truck dominance via world class performing ICE Powertrains. The GM GPS ME Team has embarked on admission to enable flawless program launches by providing proven robust manufacturing systems, equipment, tools, and know how that produce manufacturing systems that provide GM with a manufacturing competitive advantage.
The Role
As the Execution Manager for the GPS ME DK68 Engine Program, you will be responsible for leading an inclusive and diverse team through the development, implementation, and production launch of the manufacturing systems, equipment, and tools associated with the program. You and your team will utilize personal skills and innovative technology to generate collaborative solutions with Design, Tooling, Engineering, Manufacturing, Union and OEM partners. The work is performed in a centralized manufacturing engineering environment located in Moraine/Brookville, Ohio utilizing agile methodologies that empowers team members, promotes cross functional collaboration, encourages transparency, and contributes to fast cycles of learning.What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
