      We are currently seeking an Engineering intern for our Waterbury, CT manufacturing facility. This role will work within our Manufactruing Engineering department alongside other engineers/mentors to complete actual projects and make invaluable contributions to the business. This position is for Full-Time Summer. Ideal candidates would have the ability to work Part-Time during school semesters.

      What you will do:

      • Works directly with a senior engineer to design, document and validate new components and products.
      • Data collection
      • Builds, documents and validates elector- mechanical test stations as needed.
      • Conducts tests, analyzes data, and provides formal report on findings and recommendations.

      What we are looking for:

      • 4- year degree in progress to achieve a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
      • Strong math skills and mechanical aptitude required.
      • Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and e-mail to effectively communicate.
      • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
      • May require standing/sitting for long periods of time, up to 8 hours per day.

      Additional Characteristics:

      • The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
      • This position may be exposed to various industrial cleaning chemicals and oils.
