- Initiate, justify, and implement new advanced capital equipment purchases.
- Create cell layouts and lead complex process improvement initiatives.
- Lead Process Flow Charts, PFMEA, and Control Plan Reviews.
- Apply Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA) concepts to new product development.
- 5+ years of experience in a machining/CNC environment.
- BS in Engineering highly preferred.
- Proficiency in manufacturing engineering, tooling, and CNC operations.
- Advanced knowledge of capability studies and machine capability.
- Solid understanding of machinery related to electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems for equipment specification and procurement.
- Comprehensive understanding of product drawings, including GD&T and specification flow down.
- CNC Programming experience.
- Experience with turning/milling equipment.
- Experience with Okuma 5-axis mill term.
- Swiss precision machinery experience.
- Experience with Makino 2-4 axis mills.
- Experience with Gleason grinding equipment.
- Tooling/Fixturing design.
- PLC programming or automation experience highly preferred.

Job Description
We are seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer to join our team on a 3-year contract, with the possibility of a permanent position after the first year. You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for the development of a new product and innovative manufacturing process. This role involves initiating, justifying, and implementing advanced capital equipment purchases, creating cell layouts, and leading high-complexity process improvement initiatives.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
