- Communicate with other team members, such as supervisors, quality control personnel, or other manufacturing operators to coordinate production activities and ensure production goals are met.
- Accurately maintain records and documentation as required.
- Follow SOP's, GMP's safety rules, sanitation rules, good housekeeping procedures, and company rules of conduct.
- Report food safety problems and participate in all company training for food safety and plant safety.
- Follow strict safety procedures while maintaining a hazard-free work area including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Operate multiple machines and maintaining accurate batch records.
- Ability to lift 50-55 lbs repeatedly and operate forklifts.
- Basic math and scale-reading profiency (lbs, grams, kg)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- At least 2 years’ experience or in a similar role in the manufacturing industry
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of various types of machines and equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork is essential
- Flexible and willing to adapt to changing circumstances or priorities
- Ability to work independently and well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
- Must be able to read, write, perform basic mathematical calculations, and accurately record data required.
- Must be able to frequently stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bend with full range of body motion.
- Must be able to work in uncomfortable environments including hot, cold, wet and/or humid conditions. Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals will occur. Possible exposure to nut allergens.

Our Lakeland, Florida site hosts an innovative product portfolio and utilizes custom designed equipment and technologies to create unique flavors and ingredients for citrus drinks and pharmaceutical products. Be part of a team that has rich history and ties to the Polk County community, with the original site established in 1955.
Working / Shift Hours: 4:00 PM to 4:30 AM (rotating schedule: 36/48 hours per week, Monday–Thursday alternating with Monday–Wednesday). $1 shift differential for working Night shift.
What You'll Do:
As a Manufacturing Operator, you’ll safely set up and operate equipment to optimize machine capability and product output. Applying your knowledge and skill to troubleshoot and address routine equipment malfunctions and ensure high quality goods are produced.

Compensation Data
The typical hiring range for this role is $21 to $22 per hour and is based on several factors including but not limited to education work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
