- Follow all written procedures. Report discrepancies in procedures (SOP’s, DHR’s, etc.) to the Area Supervisor.
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment as required. Refer to job-specific Safety Analysis.
- Perform all work activities in a safe manner. Maintain a safe and clutter-free work area. Clean up all spills immediately.
- Document accurately and check personal work for quality and compliance.
- Efficiently and safely operate assigned machinery. Perform simple maintenance and report malfunctioning equipment immediately to Supervisor or Lead.
- Continuously monitor product for defects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area. This includes all assigned equipment.
- Accurately dispense required additives to media and accurately perform the technique of getting pH balance as needed.
- Read, understand, and complete required documentation. All paperwork shall be accurately and neatly completed in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Set up and adjust machine to run a variety of sizes and types using tools to adjust the machine.
- Help to maintain quality assurance on your position at all times.
- Help improve the production process by actively engaging in making suggestions for improvement.
- Minimum Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- 1-2 years’ experience in a manufacturing or regulated environment; aseptic experience in a medical device or pharmaceutical environment preferred.
- Ability to push/pull up to 600lb kettles, stand for extended shifts (around 10 hours daily)
- Communicate well, both verbally and written in English, and be comfortable performing basic math
- Hourly pay rate based on experience

We manufacture culture media and other microbiological diagnostic products serving customers in the pharmaceutical, food, and clinical laboratories.
