- Analyze engine test process data for build defect detection and throughput improvements.
- Bauer Test Systems, Cincinatti Test Systems, Uson Leak Testers, Marposs Gage
- Create innovative solutions to increase manufacturing throughput and built in quality.
- Monitor all engine process equipment data and implement adjustments for machine performance
- Program torque controllers and evaluate torque rundown data for trends
- Design tooling for production process improvements
- Maintain Process Control Plans and PFMEA
- Maintain equipment and spare parts ordering
- Monitor the engine test equipment.
- We have three engine assembly lines.
- Each one has a basic sequence of operations and test equipment.
- So, if there's an engine that is failing engine test, this position will be required (after they're trained), to go over there, look at the data, analyze what could be wrong with the engine, make a judgment call whether it’s good or bad, if we need to tear it down to try find a defect.
- Additionally, responding to radio calls from our team leaders, if they have a piece of equipment that's not functioning properly, the assembly process is down for any reason. This role would be responsible for responding to that radio call.
- Candidate will work on continuous improvement projects, so attending the team meetings to review the defects or downtime events or anything that is occurring in the shop that is driven by our metrics and helping us come up with solutions and implementing them to drive for better business results.
- Highest form of education required:
- Bachelors in Engineers minimum.
- Years of experience required. 5 years in a manufacturing
- Engine Testing Experience – Bauer Test Systems (Most Critical Need).
- Fastening Experience – Atlas Copco Torque Programming
