  The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

  • Provide engineering support to our maintenance and operation teams within respective departments for continuous chemical coating applications and foam making to a final product.
  • The process engineer is responsible for ensuring that all processes comply with regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Implement methods and approaches such as Lean, Six Sigma and other to optimize manufacturing processes.

  • Helping us maintain a successful operation
  • Implementing new processes and technologies
  • Supporting our production team by means of optimizing current processes

  Your Skills and Expertise
  To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
  • One (1) year of process design and optimization in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Current, valid Driver’s License

  Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Ability to document processes, creating standard operating procedures, product/process standards, work instructions.
  • Utilization of data analysis software for troubleshooting processes.
  • Good communication skills, adaptability, analytical and problem-solving abilities

  Travel: May include up to 10% domestic
