- Associate’s Degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering and/or equivalent hands-on job experience
- Quality Engineer Certification a plus.
- 3-8 years of Manufacturing Quality Engineering experience
- Experience working with electro-mechanical machinery
- 4 + years quality control experience.
- Manufacturing experience.
- Workplace safety experience a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Analytical skills
- Read drawings and specifications.
- Identify issues with production-related processes and recommend areas for improvement.
- Monitor operations to ensure they meet production standards.
- Document and compile observations and data for analysis
- Monitor, inspect and evaluate products to make sure quality standards are met.
- Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production processes.
- Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced.
- Measure products with calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
- Create and revise quality test plans, process documents, work instructions, QC Sheets and failure analysis reports
- Define and analyze problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions on quality issues .
- Make recommendations on all issues regarding quality of production.
- Conduct visual and measurement tests.
- Worker will be working in a warehouse environment
- Ability to maneuver a job site, including small spaces around our equipment
- Sitting and standing for an extended period of time
- Worker must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Squatting, bending, kneeling, reaching overhead, reaching forward will occur while on the job
