      Key Qualifications

      • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering or related field and 2 year of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
      • Experience and/or education must include:
      • Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing drawings(GD&T)
      • Design of Experiments (DoE)
      • Statistical Analysis
      • Metrology
      • Technical project management
      • OMM/CMM
      • Statistical analysis techniques and software including JMP, Minitab, Tolerance Stack-up, or GRR
      • Manufacturing processes tools including Product Quality Plan, Measurement Scope of Reference, Design for Manufacturing, Control Charts, or Design of Manufacturing
      • Failure Analysis and Corrective Action tools including FMEA Reports, Root Cause Analysis, Pareto Chart / Yield Bridge, and Fishbone Diagram
      • Auditing of processes and vendors

      Description

      APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Contribute to the design of future Apple products from a quality side. Partner with multi-functional teams to evaluate design and processes at the concept phase. Develop measurement technologies, control strategies, information systems, and manufacturing methods. Use CAD/FEA to predict and optimize user centric functional / reliability testing to help design down selection and failure analysis. Develop and implement cutting edge quality inspection tools to evaluate cosmetic and dimensional part characteristics. Compile and evaluate data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process and part specifications. Coordinate activities to balance unparalleled quality with scalable yields. Ensure proper definition of quality expectations and that appropriate assurance techniques are used for the Apple product. Establish audit procedures appropriate to program and supplier to ensure consistency to Apple quality standards. Evaluate and communicate yields of new and existing processes. International travel required 30%. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $125,778 - $181,000/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
