      As a global leader in Stainless Steel, we're seeking a dynamic Shift Coordinator to join our CRW team in Calvert, Mobile County, Alabama.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating activities of all shift resources, including operations and maintenance, and also responsible for the safe and efficient operation of processes, equipment and services in a manner which maximizes productivity and minimizes costs.

      What you will bring:

      • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.
      • Two-year technical diploma or electrician qualification preferred.
      • Must have strong management history (3-5 years).
      • Ability to analyze data and trends and identify opportunities for improvement through analysis.
      • Strong mathematical ability.
      • Previous experience in heavy manufacturing a plus
      • Strong technical aptitude and Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
      • Previous scrapyard experiences preferred.
      • Stainless Steel or Alloy Steel Melt Shop previous experience preferred.

      Some of the key activities you will be responsible for:

      • Ensure that the organization's SOPs are followed and enforced up to and including disciplinary actions.
      • Report and administrative requirements, i.e., vacation, payroll, production, etc.
      • Facilitate the skill progression of operators on the team. This includes cross training between operating positions.
      • Ensure Team members are trained in job related skills and qualified per their job requirements.
      • Provide technical leadership and support for the Team.
      • Provide team skills leadership and support for the Team.
      • Ensure that all incoming material is inspected and meets OTK requirements.
      • Coordinate with management on storage locations for new material.
      • Responsible for inputting maintenance requests for the department and ensuring the work is completed.
      • Ensure that housekeeping in the area is kept up to standards.
      • Assist operator when necessary to meet production demands.
      • Ensure that the mill service contactor is following all safety regulations and meets OTK’s production expectations.
      • Ensure mobile equipment is up to safety standards and all paperwork is filed.
      • Contact the mill service contractors in the event of breakdowns.
      • Assist Operators in the event of breakdowns and coordinates with Shift Coordinator to obtain maintenance assistance.
      • Identifies alloys by sight.
      • Upholds environmental and safety compliance requirements.
      • Identify environmental opportunities for improvement.

      Physical Requirements:

      • Repetitive motions for computer equipment use.
      • Ability to frequently sit, stand, talk, and hear for long periods of time.
      • Frequently use hand to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls.
      • Frequently reach with hands and arms.
      • Walking, Bending, stooping, or climbing stairs.
      • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. individually.
      • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

      Salary Range: $88,300 to $121,400 (USD)
