  Job Schedule: 2nd Shift; 4-10 hour shifts: Monday -Thursday; - 3:30PM - 2:00AM

  Job Description:

  L3Harris is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our team at our Rochester, NY facility.

  Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for conducting tests on a variety of RF or digital printed circuit boards, subassemblies, or end products.
  • Will be using a variety of test equipment and logging information in technical databases.
  • Basic troubleshooting.
  • Fast-paced environment with a cross-functional team.
  • Traversing across the production floor for the duration of their shift (up to 12 hours).

  Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 to 3 years of technician or troubleshooting experience.

  Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Currently enrolled in an electrical technician degree program.
  • Basic knowledge of Electrical Engineering theory.
  • Associates degree (technical discipline).
  • Electronics / RF Troubleshooting Experience.
  • Experience with Harris RFCD products and assembly processes.
  • Able to perform LabVIEW driven automated tests.
  • Familiar with basic test equipment, i.e. Signal generators, oscilloscopes, power meters, spectrum analyzers.
  • Able to read and understand schematic diagrams.
  • MS Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Capable of identifying problems and contributing to process improvements.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Familiarity with basic computer software such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience with Unicam.
  • Willingness to work and learn in fast-paced production environment.

  In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $36,920 - $62,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
