      As a Dip/Dewax Technician, you will work in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility that is highly automated, and immaculate. Dip / De-Wax Technicians are responsible for coordinating the dipping of wax patterns into the ceramic slurry to develop the shell coat and then extracting the wax from the mold.

      Schedule: 12- hour on a 2-2-3 rotation 6 am- 6 pm OR 6 pm- 6 am

      Essential Duties and Responsibilities

      The below list reflects the general details necessary to describe the principle and essential functions of the position and shall not be construed as the only duties that may be assigned for the position.

      • Measurement of the slurry mixture to ensure the right consistency
      • Adding sand and cleaning sand beds
      • Cleaning of the slurry tanks when needed - Large vats that need to be emptied, scraped, washed down, and re-filled with a slurry mixture
      • Unscrewing the mold from the mold hanger in order to put a cup on the mold for the next step
      • Move the mold from the cup machine and load it onto the mold cart to load into the autoclave.
      • Loading and unloading of the autoclave
      • Patch molds so there are no leaks
      • Place molds onto the conveyer system that enters into the burn-out furnace
      • Complete required inspection and tests of products

      Education and Experience:

      • High school diploma or HSED/GED equivalent preferred
      • Must possess good computer skills and be able to learn new skills as needed
      • Previous experience is not required but is a plus


      Work Environment & Physical Demands

      • Fast-paced environment
      • Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear
      • Use hands to work tools, controls, etc.
      • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
