      Position Overview

      We are hiring for a Manufacturing Technician. This position reports to Production Supervisor. Responsible for operating, cleaning, and general maintenance of the Quicksnap production lines.

      Job Description

      Responsibilities

      • Tends machine(s) that perform one or more functions, such as, injection molding, assembly, packing, labeling, banding, wrapping, etc.
      • Performs quality inspections to ensure that products meet quality specifications.
      • Able to perform product changeovers and configured the production line. Starts machine and observes operation to detect malfunctions of machine.
      • Stops machine and reports malfunction to Supervision.
      • Makes routine machine adjustments or repairs, such as, clearing jams, setting guides, etc. Performs manual packing operations, such as, wrapping, boxing, labeling, etc.
      • Cross-trained in multiple work areas to give the factory flexible to perform under lean conditions or resources.
      • Handles raw materials, finished product and associated documentation using production and warehouse management systems, such as SAP. Transports product and supplies between departments and/or locations, may load trailers or shipping containers.
      • Feeds product to conveyors, hoppers, or other feeding devices, prepares materials for production lines and unloads packaged product.
      • Maintains packaging supplies, such as, wrapping paper, boxes, cartons, glue, ink, labels, etc.
      • Performs inventory cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
      • Maintains records, such as, production volume, product type, quality check sheets, machine check sheets, etc.
      • Maintains machine cleanliness and able to perform the proper lock out procedures.
      • Performs all additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
      • Follows Fujifilm’s Employee Code of Conduct Policy and adheres to Fujifilm Safety Policies and Procedures.
      • Generates hazardous waste, labels containers, and meets other container storage requirements. Transports them to less than 90-day storage. Prepares hazardous waste for disposal, such as, filling waste tankers and coordinating these pickups.

      Required Skills/Education

      • High School Diploma or GED
      • Minimum of 6 months working in a manufacturing process or equivalent experience
      • Must meet the physical demands list below.
      • This position requires usually working a 10-hour shift rotation. The associate will receive the work schedule two weeks in advance. Work hours may change based on business needs (shuffling between work areas and manpower shortages from absences)
      • Required to detail oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.
      • Must be able to pass required safety training such as lockout tagout, hazard communication, ISO, etc.
      • Requires forklift certification and to operate different types of powered forklift trucks.
