      Job Title: Manufacturing Technician II


      Job Description

      The role involves supporting activities and disinfection of GMP space, equipment, and associated areas involved in the manufacture of Master and Working Cell Banks. This position is integral within production facilities involved in the manufacture of Cell & Gene Therapy products and final product fills in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).

      Responsibilities

      • Operate, maintain, and clean equipment used in the manufacturing process.
      • Prepare solutions and materials needed for production.
      • Understand and apply aseptic technique concepts and proper cleanroom behavior.

      Essential Skills

      • Proficiency in manufacturing processes.
      • Aseptic cleaning techniques.
      • Sterilization and disinfection protocols.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • High School diploma or equivalent.
      • 2+ years of relevant experience within a cGMP environment.
      • Experience in aseptic cleaning and sterilization.

      Work Environment

      The position is set in an aseptic manufacturing environment requiring full gowning. Holiday and shift work are often required based on the manufacturing schedule, as determined by management. The technician must be able to wear appropriate cleanroom attire, such as surgical masks, and utilize all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Shift options include Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday from 4:00 pm to 2:30 am. The work environment promotes rapid advancement based on performance rather than tenure.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $23.50/hr.
