- GED/HS diploma
- Previous experience in manufacturing, gas and oil, chemical technician, industrial mechanics, production technician, bio-tech, automotive and mechanics, waste and waste water treatment, power plant, or refinery. Recent military discharge or retirement is also acceptable.
- Ability to pass onboarding requirements and respiratory fit test.
- Handling and changing out gas, chemical, and slurry containers
- Troubleshooting and maintaining gas and chemical equipment
- Supporting computer operations for job functions and customer needs
- Supporting quality systems
- Occasional ladder climbing with fall protection
- Use of site-provided respirators when working with chemicals (approx. 10-15 minutes)
- Basic lifting up to 40 lbs
- Bending, reaching overhead
- PPE including safety glasses, hard hats, earplugs, chemical aprons, gloves, and safety boots
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in maintenance, equipment tech, mechanical or electronic environments
- Experience with chemical and gas distribution equipment
- Military training
- Strong technical aptitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
Job Description
Pay Rate: $28/hr - $32/hr - depends on experience (Hourly Pay Rates based on Experience: Entry to Mid-Level $28 – 32/hr; High-Level $32 or higher, but only based on a high level of experience).
Hours: Day shift 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. The initial 2-3 months will be a temporary shift from 7:00 am – 3:30 pm for new hire training. Afterward, the shift will be TBD. Our team of 55 supports facilities 24x7. The individual will be assigned to a compressed shift (7:00am - 7:30pm or 7:00pm – 7:30am).
Length: 1-year contract with the possibility of extension or conversion to full-time based on business needs and performance.
Location & Vaccination: 100% onsite; does not require candidates to be fully vaccinated, though this may change in the future. The final offer will be determined by the hiring manager.
Interview Schedule: Virtual interviews held Monday - Thursday only.

Technicians will work on systems maintaining the supply of chemicals and gases in a semiconductor manufacturing environment, producing chips used in electronic devices such as smartphones, LEDs, and flat-screen TVs.
