Co-leader of band camp
Co-leader of Saturday Camps (all day rehearsals)
Co-leader for three to four rehearsals per week after school. Rehearsals are three hours-minimum
Co-leader of all band performances
Co-Directs band
Co–directs drill
May specialize in visual presentation
Serve as a technician for instrumentalists
Present at all performances (as a co-conductor/technician/supervisor)
May specialize in color guard and visual design
Background in the Performing Arts
Marching Band Performing and/or Teaching Experience
Drum Corp Experience Preferred
High-quality oral and written communication skills
Strong organizational and planning skills
Open to new ideas and the ability to adapt to change
Awareness of, and appreciation for, individual uniqueness and diversity
Awareness of safety concerns and risk management
Pupil Activity Permit: requirements established by the HCSD Board of Education
Serve as a role model for students

Job Goal: The Assistant Marching Band Director will assist in leading the marching band program at Hamilton High School under the leadership of the Band Director and the Supervisor of Fine Arts.
Reports to: Supervisor of Fine Arts
