      Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy are seeking applications within the maritime field for our Offshore Market Unit. We are looking for a genuine and dedicated Marine Contract & Commercial Manager (Marine Asset Manager) to provide expert maritime and contractual knowledge for our internal project portfolio in Marine Operations.

      Who we are in Marine Operations:

      We are a global Team (Europe, APAC, US) providing dedicated in house expertise on all Vessel and Aviation related topics (Installation Vessels, Walk to Work Vessels, Crew Transfer Vessels and Helicopters). We seek to deliver innovative and market leading Marine Operations, from early concept development through chartering and project execution.

      What you will do in the job:

      • As a Marine Contract & Commercial Manager (Marine Asset Manager) working with SGRE, you will be involved in chartering of vessels (especially Installation Vessels), dialogue with vessel owners and operators. The position is primary office based and expects meeting activity. In this position you might have global travel activities and involvement.
      • Being member of sourcing teams providing maritime knowledge and services to our offshore wind farm projects, primarily in the sales phase. You will be supporting the Sales/Tender and Construction group in issuing tender budgets, Vessel-set up requirements and construction programs. You will be responsible, together with the procurement department, for the tender process for the offshore wind farm vessels, including request for tender, evaluation of tenders and charter party negotiations.

      Furthermore, you will

      • ·Budget and Strategy development and implementation of strategic goals
      • ·Be responsible for vessel owners respecting their contract obligations and being primary point of contact to vessel owners & offshore contractors
      • You might be involved to review and development of technical solutions, together with our technical Experts in our Marine Operation Team.
      • Support our Sales colleagues on Vessel related Contract reviews towards our Customers (with legal support where required)
      • Support EHS (Environmental Protection, Health Management & Safety) in maritime matters

      What you need to make a difference:

      • Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to promote that change.
      • We are also looking for…
      • You have a background related to (Offshore) vessel Contracts, ideally for Installation Vessels within offshore wind, with +5 years of experience and knowledge of offshore or offshore wind projects
      • Ideally you have experience with maritime assets and logistics.
      • You ideally have some insight into Marine Operations, especially of Installation Vessels. We emphasize our openess to applicants with other backgrounds!
      • You have a good understanding of vessel regulatory requirements, design and performance
      • As a person, you are open-minded and proactive with strong strategic and analytical skills, and you have a result and quality-oriented approach to your assignments
      • You are a skilled team player with the ability to coordinate and motivate smaller cross functional teams to perform efficiently
      • You thrive in a multi-cultural environment and possess enhanced communication and English skills both orally and in writing
      • You have a structured mindset and a strategic view on things, though you possess the right skills to switch between detailed and high-level overview and thereby create a clear image of the product scope and processed data.
