      MARINE SURVEY GEOPHYSICIST – STUDENT INTERNSHIP 2023/2024 (OFFICE-BASED)

      Location: Office Based, Data Centre, Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia

      JOB DESCRIPTION

      The Geophysicist is one of the members of client deliverables team and is responsible for all aspects relating to the management of geoscience reporting projects, the supervision of project teams, and the interpretation and reporting of geophysical survey data in accordance with documented procedures and work instructions.

      Interns are typically assisting the Team Leader in the coordination of activities within the respective department, management and collation of geo-related data, and generation of client deliverables.

      Basic Requirements:

      • Be at least 18 years of age.
      • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Geophysics, Geology, Oceanography (Physical) or a closely related discipline.
      • Current level in University/ College Sophomore through Senior or Graduate Student.
      • A minimum cumulative and Major GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
      • An interest and some experience in ERSI ArcGIS, AutoCAD and data processing software packages.
      • A minimum of ten (10) continuous weeks of availability for the internship.
      • Candidates must have the right to live and internship in Malaysia.
