Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have · Strong knowledge of MarkLogic architecture, including clustering, indexing, and data modeling. · Proficiency in writing complex queries using · Experience with MarkLogic Query Console, Admin API, and MarkLogic Data Hub. · Familiarity with XML, JSON, and other structured data formats used with MarkLogic. · Understanding of integration strategies and tools for data synchronization and data movement in a distributed system.

1 Provide ongoing support for MarkLogic database systems, ensuring high availability, performance, regular database maintenance tasks,patching.

2 Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to MarkLogic clusters, database operations, queries, and indexes.

3 Perform root cause analysis for system failures or performance bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.

4 Handle database migrations and support scaling efforts to ensure that systems can accommodate increasing data volume.

5 Collaborate with development teams to integrate MarkLogic with other enterprise systems and applications.

6 Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integrations an transformations, with other systems.

7 Implement and manage security policies within MarkLogic, including role-based access controls.

8 Work closely with cross-functional teams, including database administrators, developers, and business analysts, to understand and resolve issues.
