      Job Summary

      Dominion Energy is actively seeking a candidate to support the sales and development of residential customer offerings as part of our new and innovative business segment, Dominion Energy Solutions. Current offerings include rooftop solar, battery storage, and EV charging for homes.

      There is one position available for this requisition and it will be filled at the level commensurate with successful candidate's knowledge, skills, and experience.

      Additional responsibilities include:

      • Leveraging superb customer service skills and technical acumen providing a white-glove experience for customers, supporting the processes that drive their project from lead gen through operations.
      • Intakes new customers, evaluates project viability, designs projects, and advises customers on energy solutions
      • Serves as a customer-first energy advisor, bringing a high level of integrity and transparency to the sales process.
      • Attends site visits as needed throughout the specified market and is an ambassador for the Dominion Energy brand exhibiting Dominion’s core values in all areas of responsibility.
      • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

      Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

      Market Development Representative:

      • Minimum 3 years' experience with sales or customer service roles with a basic understanding of renewable energy fundamentals.
      • Prior renewables experience an asset but not required.

      Senior Market Development Representative:

      • Minimum 5 years' experience with sales or customer service roles with at least 1 year of experience in renewables industry in some capacity.
      • Proficiency with PC, MS Office Suite, and/or solar production modeling systems is a plus.
      • Demonstrated leadership, teaming, initiative, customer service, technical knowledge, judgement and innovation.
      • Ability to speak persuasively and develop rapport.
      • Ability to define problems, collect data and draw conclusions.
      • Ability to write and develop presentations.
      • Ability to plan and organize work.
