      General Summary

      The Market Intelligence Analyst is responsible for supporting BioBridge Global’s commercial efforts by monitoring market trends, interpreting data, and making recommendations that influence product/service development, identify competitive advantage opportunities, and inform business decisions that drive the growth of the organization. Additionally, the Market Intelligence Analyst is responsible for providing each business unit with

      up-to-date news and information on all competitors, partners, customers, and prospects.

      Provide world class customer service by capturing and being responsive to the voice of the customer (internal or external, including donors for select positions) through multiple feedback channels in order to resolve issues and drive satisfaction in accordance with the BBG customer engagement, feedback, and complaint processes.

      It is essential that the incumbent have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years old with a good driving record to meet organization driving standards.

      Major Duties and Responsibilities

      Essential Tasks

      Monitor, gather and analyze market trends, opportunities, and consumer behavior for the blood, plasma, HCT/P, testing, Cell & Gene Therapy/Advanced Therapies market segments.

      Inform business unit leaders on trends and support strategy development.

      Maintain database of company profiles, industry reports, and market share for BioBridge Global competitors, partners, customers, and prospects.

      Manage the execution of BBG’s Market Watch Newsletter. Compile and vet content for monthly distribution. Support market data integration with the organization’s CRM for sales team utilization.

      Develop and manage the sales lead qualification process: Pre-qualify sales leads and support identification of prospective targets through market intelligence.

      Provide analytical support for BBG’s annual strategic retreat. Perform valid and reliable market SWOT analysis.

      Develop and maintain competitive pricing database for BioBridge Global products and services. Monitor and report on Cell and Gene Therapy Clinical trial phases and drug therapy approvals. Provide customized reports for leadership and sales team upon request.

      Devise and evaluate methods for collecting data as needed (Surveys, Questionnaires, Opinion Polls).

      Design specific research methods such as questionnaires. Performs other duties as assigned.

      Non-Essential Tasks

      As appropriate, support strategic projects related to BBG business development efforts.

      Education

      Requires a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university. The preferred majors are in Marketing, business, economics, or finance.

      Licenses and/or Certifications

      Valid United States Driver’s License

      Experience

      Requires five or more years of marketing experience with demonstrated analytic capabilities.

      Requires market research and business intelligence experience.

      Experience in healthcare or pharma is a plus.

      Knowledge

      Must obtain a working knowledge of regulatory/quality requirements and perform within all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies.

      Must have previous work experience with Microsoft Office, to include Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.

      Familiar with financial reports, advanced google searches, media monitoring, and social media searches. Must have knowledge and understanding of sales and marketing relationships.

      Skills

      Must be capable of operating motor vehicles in all types of weather conditions.

      Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Must have excellent analytical/critical thinking skills.

      Must have proven ability in handling concurrent projects with attention to detail and accuracy.

      Must have adequate knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys etc.)

      Must have excellent knowledge of statistical packages, data warehousing, and mining.

      Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.

      Must have excellent analytical/critical thinking skills.

      Proficient in marketing research, statistical analysis, and a high degree of business acumen.

      Abilities

      Must be a self-starter and self-directed worker. Must be able to keep information confidential.

      Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment while maintaining quality and accuracy. Must be neat in appearance and well groomed.

      Must be professional, detail oriented, self-motivated, innovative, creative, assertive, organized, communicative, and have the ability to work independently.

      Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with the general public, employees and management staff.

      Working Environment

      Works in a well-lighted, air conditioned and heated office. May be exposed to electrical and chemical hazards and other conditions common to an office environment. May be required to work at any time of the day, evening or night during the week or weekend to include being on-call. Occasional out of town and overnight stays required. Ability to use personal motor vehicle for company business required. Occupational Exposure Assignment - Category II

      Physical Requirements

      Will sit, stand, walk, and bend during working hours.

      Requires manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.

      Requires normal or corrected vision and hearing corrected to a normal range.
