      Overview This position is a critical part of PepsiCo’s newly formed KAGER team (Kroger Analytics & Growth Enabler Resource). The KAGER team will drive incremental, consistent, and sustainable growth to PepsiCo and Kroger leveraging the power of our data, science, and intellect in support of JBP (Joint Business Planning) delivery and uncovering future demand terrains. The Manager, Market Intelligence and Structural Transformation will be tasked with leading efforts on Omni-Channel Food & Beverage (F&B) trend assessments, Consumer Product Goods (CPG) macros, and advancing business intelligence reporting initiatives. Key deliverables include leveraging the 8451 Total Store data asset to inform category, competitive, and attribute foresights; analysis and sell in of broad-based structural space initiatives across the macro category landscape leading to Best in Class (BIC) Gold Standard development; and managing the Kroger Pepsico Customer Team (PCt) cloud-based reporting suite of tools and leading the Global Business Services (GBS) resourcing for the Kroger team. Responsibilities Assess competitive landscape & emerging trends across the entire Kroger/KAGER space Primary responsibility is to lead, enhance, and grow the PepsiCo relationship with Kroger by being a thought leader and “go-to” resource for category, shopper and consumer trends, and merchandising solutions. Use analytics from multiple data sources across markets, shoppers, and consumers to make business-building recommendations for category growth, while gaining a deep understanding of consumer and shopper behavior and interactions across products, geographies, cohorts, and occasions. This analysis will be used to drive the Kroger and PEP business agenda. Develop, maintain and communicate performance via actionable reporting tracking tools to support both the customer and PepsiCo Beverage and Foods teams. Secondary responsibilities include streamlining the PepsiCo Joint Business Planning (JBP) process as primary category management “point-person” through partnering with the Kroger sales team and HQ shopper and insights teams to drive the Kroger/PepsiCo agenda. Leverage 8451 data to drive Best-in-Class insights that result in growth for Kroger and PepsiCo Develop, maintain, and communicate performance via reporting/tracking tools Foster customer partnership through the delivery of advantaged shopper and category insights Provide Analytics and Insights to support PepsiCo AOP, Growth Summit Meetings and Internal Business Reviews Drive the strategic insights learning agenda by highlighting shopper & category insights that directly impact our business, and developing actionable plans based on those insights to help accelerate performance so we can win in the marketplace Lead the project management and execution of key divisional strategic initiatives to create fast, and actionable insights for PEP Kroger leadership team and business stakeholders so we can move FASTER to drive near-horizon growth Partner with PEP, Kroger/8451 stakeholders on strategic business conversations, to provide category & shopper insights and to support commercialization plans to drive our business forward Monitor industry and category macro trends for food and beverages to ensure our Kroger stakeholders are informed of any shifts so they can quickly respond Present and communicate to various levels of internal and external partners Provide direction to Global Business Services (GBS) team member assigned to support Kroger Qualifications Collaboration is essential in this role as the person will work very closely with account sales leads, cross-functional teams as well as the retailer directly Strong planning/organizing skills; the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously Bachelor’s Degree required (Economics, Finance, Business preferred) 7+ years of progressive work experience and practical CPG exposure in Sales, Competitive Intelligence, Commercial Planning, Revenue Management/Pricing, Insights, and/or Data Analytics Strategic thinking and advanced problem-solving skills Strong analytical capabilities Ability to translate complex, data-intense analytics into actionable recommendations Experience working effectively in a cross functional team environment Team player with the ability to excel in an agile, collaborative, and ambiguous environment High attention to detail, including strong executive presence Ability to engage, empower and coach teams Strong PC skill set (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Experience with data resources and solutions (Syndicated POS, Panel, Market6, 84.51, Tableau, JDA).
