- Manage and develop teams of financial advisors in roles with moderate complexity and risk
- Engage and influence peers, stakeholders, internal partners, external clients affected by its outcomes
- Identify and recommend opportunities for improving market share, compliance, regulatory, and administrative issues related to the branches in the market
- Determine appropriate strategies and actions for recruiting, local marketing, market planning, team development, administration, compliance, and operations functions within each branch
- Interpret and develop policies and procedures for each branch with moderate complexity within scope of responsibility
- Collaborate with and influence financial advisors and more experienced managers to assess the performance of each branch
- Act as ultimate point of contact for compliance, regulatory, and administrative related issues in each branch within the market
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and aligned with strategic objectives in the designated market
- Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
- This LO position has customer contact and job duties which may include needs assessing and referring those customers interested in a dwelling secured product to a SAFE team member
- This position includes assisting customers without taking an application and without offering or negotiating terms of a dwelling secured transaction
- Individuals in a LO position also must meet the Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z (LO) outlined in the job expectations below
- 6+ years of Banking and Financial Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years of management experience
- Successfully completed Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7, 9 and 10 (or 24), and 63 examinations (or FINRA recognized equivalents) sufficient to qualify for immediate FINRA registration
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Life and Health Insurance licenses
- Management experience including coaching, training, and mentoring various levels of team members including financial advisors to various level managers roles
- Ability to build successful relationships and influence across organizations at multiple levels, while driving results
- Ability to develop and execute business strategies tied to a common vision, which maximizes revenue and profitability
- Ability to grow and develop a team of Financial Advisors and various manager level roles while promoting diversity and inclusion
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of the management and compliance needs of wealth management industry
- Growth-oriented leader with ability to grow and develop wealth management business
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- Individuals in Loan Originator (LO) positions must meet the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements and comply with related Wells Fargo policies. The LO qualification requirements include meeting applicable financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness and criminal background standards. A current credit report will be used to assess your financial responsibility and credit fitness, however, a credit score is not included as part of the evaluation. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening, if necessary
- Persons who have FINRA Series 24 must successfully complete series registration for FINRA Series 9/10 within 120 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire.
- For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite may also be required”
- Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. In addition to state registration, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Wells Fargo will initiate financial and criminal background review process at the time of offer acceptance.
- Registration for FINRA Series 65 (or 66) must be completed within a 90-day time period if not immediately available to transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted. This will be communicated at time of offer acceptance.
- Designated insurance license requirements must be completed within a 90 or 180-day time period contingent upon number of license(s) needed if not immediately available to transfer upon hire. Compliance with state law requirements is required.
