      Responsibilities

      This position will support North State and Sacramento markets.

      The Market Manager provides leadership and oversight of design and construction activities for large, complex projects (up to $500 million) and/or multiple smaller projects with an aggregate value up to $500 million. The role involves interfacing with regional and senior hospital leadership for project coordination and communication, managing project objectives, budgets, cash flow, risks, and contingencies to ensure successful outcomes in quality, timeliness, and cost. The position reports to the Region Director and supervises 4 or more Senior Project Managers and/or Project Managers.

      • Responsible for scheduling and managing all assigned project deliveries.
      • Leads project teams in establishing scope, schedule, and budget, maintaining objectives throughout each phase, and communicating project status internally and externally.
      • Coordinates between construction teams, consultants, and facility operations.
      • Monitors construction activities for compliance with documents, specifications, regulations, codes, standards, and laws.
      • Maintains relationships with federal, state, and local authorities.
      • Participates in negotiations with vendors following company policies.
      Qualifications

      Bachelors degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent experience required. Minimum of 5+ years leading project management, design, and construction projects. Strong knowledge of project budgets, controls, and successful delivery of healthcare capital projects. Professional license or certification preferred. Experience in project meetings, design, and construction processes, and knowledge of regulatory agencies like OSHPD/HCAI.

      Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
      • Knowledge of health facility preconstruction services and equipment planning.
      • Problem-solving, risk analysis, and contingency planning skills for leadership communication.
      Required Skills
      • Proficiency with Google Office Suite, MS Project, Excel, Blue Beam, Adobe Pro, or similar tools.
      Preferred Training
      • Lean Process Improvement, Change Management, Evidence-Based Design, Sustainability, Project Management Software.
