      WHAT YOU'LL DO

      Consults and partners with key stakeholders and external vendor partners to design, execute and deliver qualitative market research studies that increase the depth of understanding of our current and potential customers in order to drive business decisions. This role will lead qualitative research studies including study design, discussion guide development, recruiting and logistics, field research, analysis and reporting. Expected to represent Business & Consumer Insights in meetings by making proactive contributions where consumer insights can impact brand, menu innovation, retail, guest experience and operations initiatives.

      • Qualitative Market Research/Analysis
        • Lead the design and execution of qualitative research programs including in store guest intercepts, online and in person focus groups and employee interviews.
        • Translate business questions into compelling qualitative research plans that deliver actionable insights.
        • Collaborate with other Business & Consumer Insights team members as well as cross functional business partners across the organization to support decision making based on guest driven input.
        • Moderate live or online qualitative sessions in store or online
        • Analyze and summarize qualitative data using text analytic software to uncover deeper insights.
        • Synthesize qualitative feedback into concise and compelling reports and presentations that inspire and influence stakeholder decision making.
        • Stay up to date on qualitative best practices and tools.
      • Trends Curator- serve as the go to source of social and cultural unstructured trend data including the development of trends insights presentations for cross functional partners.

      WHAT YOU'LL NEED

      • Bachelor’s degree in Market Research, Marketing or Social Sciences, or related field
      • MBA or MMR Preferred
      • 5+ years of market research experience with a minimum of 2 years focused on qualitative research.
      • Hands on experience moderating focus groups or one on one interviews in person and online.
      • Proven experience with translating unstructured data into meaningful insights.
      • Experience utilizing online qualitative interview platform strongly preferred.
      • Adept at uncovering insights and driving them into the business.
      • Curious, and empathetic mindset with ability to distill unstructured data into clear & meaningful recommendations.
        • Restaurant, hospitality, food & beverage, or retail industry experience a strong plus.
        • Strong storytelling, presentation, and influencing skills
      • Comfortable with ambiguity.
      • Very detailed with excellent problem-solving skills.
      • Ability to multi-task and stay organized in fast-paced often changing situation.
      • Has proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
      • Experience utilizing online qualitative interview platform strongly preferred.
