      Successful candidates will join the Petro-Points Marketing team and focus on growth, engagement and retention of members. You will be driving progress for one of the top loyalty programs in Canada, for one of the largest retailers in Canada – we deliver value to millions of Canadians every year. In this role, you will be responsible for helping manage our program operations, supporting on-site engagement, card operations and so much more within our Petro-Points ecosystem. You will engage with vendors, site operations, campaign management, and program execution with various members of the Loyalty team. You will work closely with internal groups to deliver against annual plans to add tangible value to the Petro-Canada business. You will focus on supporting program analytics, IT requirements, vendor, marketing campaign and budget management.

      Minimum Requirements:

      • Three years experience in a Marketing, Loyalty or Corporate Retail Role

      • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or finance or a combination of education and related work experience

      • Loyalty and/or retail operations industry experience

      Responsibilities:

      • Act as a key contact for the Loyalty team on member-related issues/opportunities, enrollments, site reimbursements, fraud, systems and other critical operational activities

      • Collaborate, monitor and update Petro-Points targets with Retail Field Operations and educate on initiatives to improve performance at the site level, while ensuring all site level procedures are updated and communicated

      • Work with marketing communications to implement Petro-Points retail campaigns, and contribute as a key member on the cross-functional site campaign execution team

      • Responsible to work with multiple internal departments to ensure all Petro-Points messaging (e.g. bulletins, retailers’ instructions, quick reference guides, web updates, rewards guides, public relations etc.) is accurate and reflective of program requirements

      • Work with vendors to manage key operational elements of our program including cards inventory management, deploy, budgeting and planning

      • Support the ongoing analytics and measurement of Petro-Points key performance measures (enrollments, active members, redemptions, swipe rate, attrition) and support competitive and industry benchmarking

      • Support the Loyalty team to prioritize IT requirements such as identification and timing of systems enhancements, upgrades and general maintenance

      • Collaborate with customer service to ensure there are robust processes in place for customer support scenario planning, handling, and escalations

      • Work on ongoing and new projects on a prioritized basis

      Location and other Key Details:

      • You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W.

      • Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs

      • Our business professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines, and the pay band will generally be based years of experience and scope of work
