- Financial background or other highly regulated industry experience
- Experience creating surveys and conducting market research
- Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, etc.
- Experience in Adobe Analytics or Audience Manager.
- Experience with Qualtrics and creating/refining surveys.
- Experience with SAS tools like Enterprise Guide, etc.

Position Overview:
As a Marketing Analyst, you will empower the Marketing team with data and insights through relevant marketing analytics that communicate objective achievement rates and quantifiy the impact of marketing activities on member success and organizational goals. A key focus of this role is supporting internal stakeholders by conducting various types of analytics for campaigns, platforms, and marketing channels, as well as creating effective dashboards to share relevant metrics and analysis.
Additionally, you will assist in gathering and analyzing audience and market data through research, surveys, and feedback study. You will collaborate with Information Technology, Information Services, Business Intelligence, Digital and other departments as a representative of the Marketing Research and Analytics team, with a critical role in collecting, organizing, analyzing, interpreting, and visualizing data from multiple sources. You will help our go-to-market teams by developing reports, data models, and analytical tools for segmentation, benchmarking, trending, competitive intelligence, and by conducting multi-variate testing for campaigns, content, and communications.
Responsibilities:
30% - Collect, analyze, and interpret data to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing efforts. Use relevant data to form actionable insights that address strategic marketing challenges and opportunities. Work with Marketing Leadership and internal stakeholders to d evelop brand, channel, campaign, and member experience benchmarks.
20% - Create dashboards, data visulizations, and campaign performance reports. Provide ad hoc analysis, competitive information, presentations, status reports and meeting recaps as necessary. Assist with preparing and presenting analysis to business departments and management.
15% - Assist leadership in establishing a long-term strategy for marketing measurement and analytics that incorporates multiple data sources across SECU systems, communications, and marketing efforts. Collaborate with internal teams to determine success metrics, forecasts, and drive growth.
10% - Conduct market research, surveys, and analysis to inform product and service optimization and to reveal actionable information that can improve member success and experience. Lead and support research projects.
10% - Create measurement briefs to outline KPIs and goal metrics as part of creative brief process.
10% - Work as part of cross-functional teams to aggregate and analyze multiple channel data disciplines. Help manage data acquisition, handling, and governance processes.
Required Education:
Bachelors Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Research, Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, Computer Science or other related fields.
Additional two years of relevant experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
