      Compensation includes a base salary of $97,100.00 - $161,800.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

      Job Description

      The Marketing Analytics Manager will be a strategic contributor engaging with key stakeholders to identify and shape analytics needs within our NGC and Manheim omnichannel marketing efforts. You will partner with cross functional teams in identifying KPIs as well as measuring marketing campaign performance and effectiveness. We are seeking a dynamic individual, who will leverage advanced analytical skills to create reporting and analysis with tailored insights and visualization that tells the story within the data and provides actionable recommendations. This individual will develop innovative analytics and multi-touch attribution reporting solutions that inspire and influence positive change within marketing and the broader organization. You will be a critical thinker partnering with cross functional teams to identify gaps, frame business problems into analytic questions and translate analytics into business value. The Marketing Analytics Manager should have a passion for data and have advanced technical skills to successfully navigate our systems and extract data. You should also have a collaborative spirit that lends itself to partnering with key stakeholders to create solutions that link campaign goals with business objectives and create winning growth strategies.

      What You’ll Do

      • Engages with cross functional teams to clearly understand business needs/problems to solve, turn them into data requirements and deliver functional analytics solutions within a predetermined timeframe to meet stakeholder expectations.

      • Collaborate with stakeholders to properly identify detailed requirements for recurring and ad-hoc analytics, including recommendation for campaign pivots, delivery of reporting, unpacking of actionable insights from data sources, and recommendations to drive new department dependencies and business growth.

      • Conduct analysis of marketing and business data to tell a story, crafting insights to formulate strategies to improve adoption, engagement, and retention

      • Design robust self-service and self-reporting dashboards and scorecards that lead data-driven decision making.

      • Leverage visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Domo, Datorama, etc. for dashboard design.

      • Develop techniques to measure the business, predict incremental return on investment and revenue attribution.

      • Perform pre/post campaign analysis, target list development, quarterly scorecards to lead data-driven decision making

      • Report on the performance of owned and paid media (email, digital, social, SEO/SEM, etc.) and drive user insights for all marketing activities across multiple marketing campaigns.

      • Perform complex data extracts, data joins, and analysis using various tools and coding language such as SQL.

      • Identify data improvement opportunities and work on solutions with a broader Cox Automotive data governance team.

      • Work with internal team members & broader Cox Automotive (CAI) analytical ecosystem to leverage best practices in reporting development.

      • Proactively participate in and identify opportunities for efficiency, automation, standardization, and process simplification/improvement.

      Who You Are/ Qualifications

      Technology We Use: AWS, SQL, Workbench, Snowflake, Python, Web activity tools such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI, SAP Business Objects, Oracle, Salesforce, DOMO.

      Minimum:

      • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline and 6 years of business analytical experience (including complex database systems, business intelligence tools, and related systems). The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 4 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years of experience in lieu of a degree.

      • Proven developer experience with data visualization platforms, such as Tableau or MicroStrategy

      • Advanced database & query experience

      • Advanced MS Excel skills including functions/formulas/visualization development and plug-ins for other business intelligence platforms

      • SQL experience

      • Experience with SFDC, Datorama or Domo

      • Understanding of email marketing

      • Experience with Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics

      • Database marketing experience

      • Exposure to cloud technology such as AWS

      • Knowledge of Salesforce/Marketing Cloud back-end processes

      Preferred:

      • Degree in Math/Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Business/Finance. Master’s degree a plus.
