What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Create and schedule engaging content for social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Manage content, layout, and distribution for monthly digital newsletters
- Update and maintain the In St. Louis, For St. Louis website using WordPress
- Collaborate with University Marketing & Communications on branded materials and event collateral
- Participate in communications planning meetings and contribute to special projects as assigned
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in digital communications
- Ability to manage multiple social media platforms and tools professionally
- Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative mindset to work with various departments
- Proficiency in managing email newsletter platforms and updating websites
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 3 years of experience in digital communications
- Familiarity with university communications systems or marketing collaboration processes
- Experience developing basic video or multimedia content for digital platforms
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and graphic design
- Demonstrated commitment to the St. Louis region and/or higher education
