      About the Role

      Weu2019re looking for an enthusiastic, creative and driven Marketing & Communications Executive with a passion for media and advertising to join our UK team . The ideal candidate will have fantastic communication skills, excellent time management and the ability to manage multiple projects at once. This individual will play an integral role in our team and will have a wealth of opportunities to make active contributions to the marketing and communications strategy in order to grow the business.

      The GroupM UK Marketing & Communications team are responsible for u00A0 GroupMu2019s u00A0 market reputation and influence within the advertising industry. u00A0 We are looking for someone whou2019s not afraid to get stuck in and share idea s . A key part of the role is being able to handle a fast-moving, constantly changing environment. u00A0 Working across a range of areas , the successful candidate must be able to effectively prioritise and flex and adapt workload based on the needs of the team u00A0 and be comfortable with managing the teamsu2019 expectations. u00A0 u00A0

      Key Responsibilities

      • Support the u00A0 team u00A0 with u00A0 a variety of events, both internal and external.
      • Supporting the Head of Marketing with external event outreach and drafting speaker pitches/notes.
      • Execute and deliver management of the marketing content and events calendars
      • Draft social media posts for our GroupM LinkedIn , Instagram and Twitter channels . Help manage plans and strategies for all social media platforms, and monitor the channelsu2019 performance
      • Support the Marketing Manager with managing external marketing
      • Write and proofread marketing copy
      • Writing ad-hoc internal communications to go out to the u202F company, helping to support the

      communications needs of disciplines such as HR, Payroll, IT as well as cultural events.

      • Help to manage our UK PR agency and external media relations enquiries
      • Contribute towards our employee engagement activities
      • Help to surface wins and stories to our internal audiences through our existing channels
      • Research, analyse, and report current marketing trends and share them with the team
      • Manage the awards process
      • Help to drive new initiatives that will increase engagement and growth

      • Build u00A0 strong u00A0 relationships with the wider Marketing and Communications team across the U.K . u00A0 u00A0
      • Assist with general u00A0 team u00A0 day-to-day queries and u00A0 be u00A0 the first point of contact for key stakeholders. u00A0 u00A0
      • Maintaining correct contact lists for internal and external communications. u00A0
      • Support the team with general admin tasks, as and when required. u00A0
      • Have a strong understanding of what the team is working on at any given time. u00A0 u00A0
      • Active participation in ideas sessions, u00A0 brainstorms u00A0 and future planning. u00A0 u00A0

      Essential :

      • Strong MS Office skills , experience with Mailchimp , SharePoint and relevant CRM tools

      • Excellent creative and content writing skills
      • Ability to manage multiple projects at once
      • Ability to work under pressure
      • Good time management skills and can work to tight deadlines
      • Strong numerical ability to develop marketing reports and help manage the budget
