The University of Virginia School of Data Science is seeking a Marketing and Communications Intern to work alongside the Communications Team in the fall of 2024 with the option to renew spring 2025. The intern will assist with writing, social media, public relations, event coverage, market research, and data collection. The Intern will support content creation for a variety of audiences through multimedia, print, and social outlets. The successful candidate will be co-supervised by the Director of Communications and the Marketing and Communications Coordinator, working alongside a team of professional
marketers and communicators.Responsibilities

Dates: Sep 16 preferred start date through Dec. 31, 2024 (with option to renew spring 2025)
Hours: 10 hours per week.
Pay: $18/hour
Location: 1919 Ivy Road, Charlottesville, VA
