      Job Summary

      We are looking for a Marketing and PR Manager to join our team. You will work in collaboration with our Agency staff, sales and marketing, and executive teams to build Forthea's brand awareness, thought leadership, press and media outreach, lead generation program and client retention efforts. This professional will work in tandem with these internal teams, and key clients, to implement Forthea's overall marketing and public relations initiatives and strategies to help build and retain Forthea's client business.

      Advertising & Marketing

      • Help design Advertising, Marketing and Communication programs to promote Forthea's brand, digital performance marketing services (SEO, PPC, Social, Content, Analytics, etc.), executive thought leadership and client retention and satisfaction.
      • Strategize with the internal Agency support team subject matter experts on a holistic, multiple tactic marketing annual plan and quarterly campaigns that will help carry out Forthea's goals for new client business, including assisting in the building strategic go-to-market plans for key industry targets.
      • Provide direction and support for the creation, review process, publishing and placement of traditional and digital media advertising and marketing assets; ensuring that all communication programs follow Forthea's brand standards and campaign look and feel.
      • Facilitate weekly advertising and marketing status calls with internal Forthea support teams to ensure delivery deadlines are met, results are being tracked, budgets adhered to and progress is being made on current campaign development and execution.
      • Track and report on advertising and marketing campaign KPI (Awareness, Lead Generation, Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL) delivered to overall business and sales team.
      • Analyze key metrics to understand overall marketing program and each campaign’s effectiveness.
      • Build strong rapport with Forthea's service delivery teams who support client programs, while helping promote Forthea's service.

      Public & Media Relations

      • Build and nurture relationships with marketing industry media and press outlets, as well as local, regional and national business and general media and press.
      • Prepare and disseminate communication content, such as press releases, videos, service brochures, flyers, online/social media-related content and posts, to external press and media outlets/audiences. Ensure content distributed promotes Forthea's services, differentiators and capabilities, including: client case studies, whitepapers, digital services blog topics and social media content that are relevant to key client target audiences (CMO, Marketing Practitioners, CEO/CFOs).
      • Working in collaboration with a wide variety of internal subject matter experts on thought leadership content around performance marketing services.
      • Collect, prepare, and disseminate information regarding Forthea's brand, performance marketing services, industry expertise and thought leadership to local press and media outlets to garner Earned Media Coverage.
      • Help establish and manage Forthea's community outreach programs that help drive a positive employee experience, as well as further Forthea's brand within the community. Work with CEO and COO in selecting community non-profit organization for Forthea to support, creating a positive community relations program.
      • Respond to requests for information from the press and media, working directly with CEO and COO, as well as clients’ success stories and achievements, to ensure that press/media-related opportunities are handled properly.

      Event & Sponsorships

      • Drive the planning and execution of Forthea's own special events, such as lunch & learns, client focused events, and client advisory board.
      • Negotiate and coordinate Digital Marketing and Target Client Industry Events and Sponsorship to promote Forthea in order to attract new clients.

      Client Satisfaction

      • Work with CEO and COO on bi-annual (2 times per year) Client Satisfaction Survey, and work with CEO and COO in presenting to Forthea Staff with recommendations on improvements.

      Competitive Analysis

      • Research and report on local and regional agency competitors to help understand competitive landscape within the marketplace and Forthea's service differentiators.
      • Facilitate research initiatives to include develop quantitative and qualitative surveys to include general public brand and service line awareness and consideration surveys.

      Budget, Job Production & Accounting

      • Oversee Marketing department’s budgeting process, including spend, partners’ invoicing and timely payments, and ROAS (Return on Ad Spend metrics)

      Experience:

      • Minimum of 3+ years relevant experience marketing communications, public and media relations, advertising, and event planning and execution.
      • Existing editorial and reporter contacts within the business and general market media and press at local regional and national levels. Marketing industry press and media experience a plus.
      • Proven experience in project management and relationship development.
      • Proven writing skills with an understanding of AP style.
      • The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet agreed upon project deadlines essential.
