      This position is located at Marketing Department Schofield Barracks, Island of Oahu, Hawaii.

      Duties


      • Serves as the focal point of online marketing. Ensures that all content displayed is up-to-date, accurate, accessible, and conforms to higher command level and regulatory requirements.
      • Works closely with supervisor, higher level managers and Information Technology specialists in applying and implementing website initiatives.
      • Evaluates user requirements and advises on design capabilities and maintenance responsibilities. Assists in the production of marketing plans and materials.
      • Communicates MWR program promotions and advertisement to the Installation population through flyers, posters, bulletin boards, calendars, e-mails, announcements and other media.
      • Assists in the marketing and coordination of annual MWR special event.

      Requirements


      • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
      • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
      • A one year probationary period may be required.
      • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
      • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
      • Must be able to work irregular schedule, occasionally to attend special events (may include nights and weekends).
      • Must be able to lift up to 25lbs
      • Occasional travel is required between local installations.

      Qualifications


      Minimum Qualifications Criteria:
      1. Practical knowledge of website maintenance and 1-3 years of experience in marketing.
      2. Must possess organizational skills and be able to work quickly in a web-based environment.
      3. Must be able to work independently and in a team environment under pressure to meet project deadlines and specific tasks.
      4. Experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe CS4 (Illustrator Photoshop, Dreamweaver, InDesign) is preferred as well as specialized education obtained in course work related to marketing, interactive communications or another related field.

      High Qualifications Criteria:
      1. 3+ years of proven success in a marketing role, demonstrating tangible results in areas like website traffic growth, lead generation, or brand awareness.
      2. Sophisticated understanding of website maintenance best practices, including SEO optimization, App optimization and Meta .
      3. Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer), and email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact).
      4. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences and maintain a professional demeanor.
      5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
      6. Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
      7. Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Express, Facebook, Instagram ) is a plus.
