LEON’S IS NOW HIRING A FULL-TIME MARKETING ASSOCIATE

Leon’s is a family-built, publicly owned company that has been a part of Canadian homes, and families for over a century. We are currently looking for a full-time Marketing Associate - Social Media & PR to manage our online community and social media accounts by implementing strategies and tactics that engage and retain our customers and fans. Our ideal candidate is fun, energetic, eager to work in a fast paced, action packed retail environment and, most of all, loves social media!

The objective of this role is to provide Leon’s ground-breaking social strategies while elevating the brand with its PR initiatives, and lifestyle magazine “Hello Yellow”. Reporting into the Marketing lead for digital and ecommerce this role will interact with various groups both internally and externally to provide best in class content, both visually as well as impactful copy to elevate the consumer experience.

ROLE EXPECTATIONS

• Drive all social media strategy, execution, and budget including post reporting and recommendations.
• Manage agencies (Social and PR) to maximize their value and hit objectives.
• Own Hello Yellow Development and Execution.
• Develop / Monitor clear persuasive “on brand” copy as needed against Flyers, Emails, website, radio, social media, POS.
• Liaise with agencies, merchandise, marketing, IT, and executive team as needed
• Participate and lead other duties as assigned
