      As a Marketing Communications Consultant, you will develop the marketing communications strategy and work on the implementation of channel optimization & activation, digital marketing, event support, presentation development, content development, and cross-business unit collaboration.

      What you will do:
      • Supporting the Cat Job Site Solutions commercial and operations teams by leading the communications strategy to increase sales opportunities through our dealer network.

      • Support both in-person and digital communications channels with sales and training presentation creation, event support, testimonial development, and web page management.

      • Work with subject matter experts to create value messaging that supports our dealer network collaboration.

      • Enhance the customer experience by gathering Voice of Customer feedback for key steps of the customer journey map and drive consistency in quality in customer communications.

      • Host quarterly internal leadership updates and lead preparation of content and messaging.

      • Collaborate with other internal marketing teams to integrate messaging where applicable.

      • Direct agency partners on content creation and manage associated budget.


      What skills you will have:

      Effective Communications: Ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
      Relationship Management: Ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

      Vendor/Supplier Management: Knowledge of external provider management processes and ability to effectively manage the business relationship with external providers.
      Promotion and Marketing Communications: Knowledge of different promotional and marketing communication techniques; ability to use different marketing channels and tools in combination to focus on how a business communicates a message to the market.

      Additional Information:

      The primary location for this position is Peoria, IL, or Tucson, AZ.

      Domestic relocation assistance is available.

      This position may require 5 - 10 % travel.

      Summary Pay Range:

      $110,520.00 - $165,840.00

      Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
