- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns for retail stores, mission programs, and fundraising efforts.
- Create, manage and update content for Goodwill’s social media platforms, internal employee messaging and Goodwill TV’s, ensuring messaging is consistent and engaging.
- Monitor social media channels for customer comments, feedback and inquiries, responding promptly and professionally.
- Support public relations efforts, including drafting press releases, providing scripted messaging points to media and staff, as well as coordinating with media outlets and contracted marketing partners.
- Track, analyze and report on marketing metrics and campaign performance, to inform future strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to determine marketing support needed and develop campaigns and strategies to best assist in meeting their goals. Collaboration also includes gathering stories, photos, and testimonials that highlight Goodwill’s impact.
- Assist in the planning and execution of community outreach events, including but not limited to, job fairs, donation drives, open houses, fundraisers and volunteer activities.
- Maintain an organized digital asset library.
- Maintain social media and community events content calendar.
- Ensure brand standards are met across all communication channels.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in marketing or communications.
- In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms and their respective audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong creative abilities to produce engaging content.
- Proficient in major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok), email marketing and familiar with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
- Solid understanding of social media analytics and trends.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, with strong project management skills.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team, while effectively multitasking to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Must have reliable transportation, a current driver's license, and provide proof of insurance to travel to different job sites.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Flexible availability.
- Able to frequently bend, twist, reach above shoulder level, push and pull, crouch or stoop, kneel, repetitively use feet, and use head and neck in a twisting or static motion and to look up and/or down, and lift and/or move up to 20 lbs.
- Proficient in using a keyboard and mouse for typing and computer navigation.
- Able to read small text on screens or mobile devices.
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods.

Job Objective:
To support the planning, execution, and evaluation of marketing and communications initiatives to promote Goodwill’s mission, programs, and retail operations. This role helps ensure consistent branding, increases community engagement, and supports organizational goals through digital, print, social and event marketing . This position reports to the Director of Marketing who evaluates performance annually.
