      The Marketing Coordinator works as part of a team to support key marketing functions that support ticket sales to One World Observatory. The position will lead development and execution of digital content strategies including end-to-end management of social media channels, drive efficient project management of various activations, support attraction product and pricing strategies, act as liaison to operations, and perform other duties as requested. The position is responsible for managing multiple concurrent projects under the advisement and guidance of the Director, Marketing.

      ESSENTIAL DUTES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Digital Marketing:
        • Assist with day-to-day communication with outside agency contact
        • Formulate communication strategies to support the various lines of business including ticket sales, restaurant covers, and private event leads
        • Support with end-to-end management of social media channels.
        • Harness the power of storytelling to create and curate compelling content across diverse social media platforms with a focus on Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube
        • Monitor and analyze social campaign performance and suggest improvements
        • Develop the content and deployment schedule for email marketing
      • Project Management:
        • Work as an internal “account manager” for various business units, departments and with third parties and external agencies
        • Project manage activations including program development, collateral needs, and promotional touchpoints
      • Departmental Reporting:
        • Support departmental reporting across all marketing efforts including digital marketing, promotions, and PR
        • Track effectiveness of campaigns and identify optimization efforts

      QUALIFICATIONS

      EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

      • Bachelor’s degree required
      • 2-3 years professional experience in marketing communications or product marketing
      • Thorough understanding of marketing and branding; project management experience a plus
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
      • Experience with Google Analytics, social analytics, CMS platforms, and email platforms is a plus
      • Previous experience using a project management tool – such as Asana or Monday. Comis highly preferred
      • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, mainly Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, and Illustrator is a plus

      SKILLS AND ABILITIES

      • Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills
      • Strong creative aptitude, interpersonal and analytical skills
      • Must work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
      • Ability to take constructive criticism and change direction to suit operational needs

      COMPENSATION

      $27.50/hour and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401(k) plan.
