      The Marketing Coordinator provides support to Vaughan Mills’ marketing program ensuring JLL’s marketing platforms (Marketing for Leasing, Marketing for Sales, Marketing for Revenue), tools and Core Practices are effectively employed to drive results and maximize client satisfaction.

      WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

      • Supports the overall marketing plan for the center

      • Coordinates events, programs, projects, promotions and marketing partnerships, from planning to outcome evaluation (post-mortem)

      • Coordinates social media content with agency under the direction of the Marketing Manager and updates the centre’s website.

      • Prepares contracts and follows up with the various parties involved for events, exhibitions, community or income-generating partnerships, etc.

      • Coordinates promotions and various aspects of the gift card program in partnership with Guest Service and the dedicated team

      • Coordinates the production and installation of creative in-mall campaigns, including the updating of digital directories

      • Supports retailers so that their store openings, moves, closings, authorized special event, etc. are captured, highlighted, and shared through selected channels

      • Works with Guest Service to ensure that all customer queries made on digital platforms are answered according to established guidelines

      • Assists Marketing Manager with tasks related to regional tourism and hospitality partners, including support with local tourism programming and partnerships

      • Provides occasional help to other departments as needed

      • All other related tasks

      Clerical Support

      • Prepares memos to retailers advising of events, new stores, management updates, etc.

      • Purchase orders preparation and invoice coding

      • Opens and sorts marketing mail and deliveries

      • Orders marketing and event supplies

      • Prepares conference call minutes, staff meeting minutes, etc. when needed

      Education/Training

      • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field

      Years of Relevant Experience

      • Two years in retail, marketing, advertising or comparable business experience

      WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

      • Shopping center experience preferred, but not required

      • Sponsorships/revenue generation experience

      • Computer literate, knowledge of marketing fundamentals

      • Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written), special event coordination and management experience along with the ability to multitask

      • Must have flexibility to work varied schedules including weekends and evenings on occasions

      • Strong team player

      Physical Work Requirements and Work Conditions

      • Frequent tours (walking) in the mall, installation of visuals when needed.
