Plan and execute a marketing strategy for the Northern European organisation and for new and existing products or services. Collaborate with the business team to uncover insights and strategies to develop and implement marketing and branding strategies for new and existing products, internally and externally
Oversee the implementation of the marketing strategy
Oversee and grow the marketing department, consistently identifying revenue opportunities within our established customer base and managing consistent growth by securing new accounts.
Collaborate with the global branding team to develop a suitable brand strategy for the EMEA Region
Set and administer the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and manage the Northern European marketing budget
Create and manage a calendar of events such as webinars, conferences and thought leadership contributions
Guide the day-to-day activities of the regional marketing teams and liaise with other marketing departments who have a dotted line responsibility to you.
Continually review changes to the market, customer trends and the activities of competitors, adjusting the marketing plan if necessary
Provide tools and materials to enable the sales team to function effectively
Liaise with our global team to provide input and content for the CrowdStrike’s social media presence
Manage and measure marketing campaign costs
Report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using pre-determined KPIs
Utilise data for marketing campaigns, interrogating the organisation’s databases and external data
Identify new business opportunities
Cooperate with our global team to provide EMEA input for market research studies
Negotiate with media agencies and secure agreements on the production of promotional materials
Experience in the fast-paced cybersecurity industry is a bonus.
Must have demonstrable regional marketing experience supporting field sales organizations and channel partners.
Must have proven experience in growing a business by translating sales goals into credible marketing plans.
Must possess skills in database marketing and growing a prospect database.
Must be able to demonstrate an understanding in the different cultural dynamics across the European region.
Skills in digital marketing and related forms of online engagement including progressive profiling and lead nurturing.
Must possess budget management and forecasting skills.
Excellent collaboration skills in working cross-functionally with sales organization, corporate marketing, peers and channel teams. We are looking for a great communicator with good presentation skills.
Excellent organizational and project management skills: lead cross-functional teams to deliver programs, manage multiple projects simultaneously, work on tight deadlines and keep all programs on schedule.
Experience in attending sales calls and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) for the regions supported.
Must demonstrate experience in managing and negotiating vendor contracts.
Experience in tracking and measuring marketing events, programs and metrics.
An interest and understanding of Formula One hospitality is advantageous.

About the Role:
The Marketing Director, Northern Europe is in charge of leading our company's marketing efforts. As a successful hire, you will be responsible for providing guidance to our regional marketing teams by evaluating and developing marketing strategies, planning and coordinating marketing efforts, communicating the marketing plans to those involved, and building awareness and positioning for our company's solutions. You will also be working closely with our sales leadership to develop strategies that will help us maximize profits and market share.
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate excellent strategic planning skills. He/she is also expected to execute marketing initiatives flawlessly and must demonstrate instances where he/she has a proven ability to successfully grow a business. Naturally, the candidate needs to have excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with key stakeholders within CrowdStrike.
