- Plan and execute fundraising events within budget.
- Manage sponsorship budget and ensure our regular events are sponsored and well attended.
- Oversee branch events and ensure the managers have the materials they need to run a successful event.
- Be a positive presence in the community for Family Trust.
- Ensure marketing event promotional materials are stocked and budgeted for.
- Capture footage for social media and be prompt in getting it to our content coordinator for posting.
- Build, test, and execute email campaigns to nurture leads, drive sales, support owner initiatives, and increase membership utilization.
- Drive email channel performance through an effective combination of content, segmentation, and personalization to achieve business objectives.
- Ensure Salesforce Marketing Cloud best practices are met and delivered.
- Manage email campaigns across the marketing calendar.
- Maintain best-in-class standards for CAN-SPAM email compliance.
- Promote and foster a “learning culture” by monitoring the latest industry thinking and innovation to inform the direction for future strategies/plans.
- Foundation events are successful in raising funds and staying within budget.
- Sponsorship budget is monitored, and no overages occur.
- Events are well attended by Family Trust staff and promoted in the community
- Work collaboratively with other members of the marketing, IT, and BI teams.
- Effectively create and manage event email campaigns that meet or exceed department goals and contribute to our strategic plan.
Role:
Family Trust is in search of a highly skilled events coordinator to help manage and oversee our corporate and foundation (501c3) events as well as email communications related to those events and sponsorships. We are looking for someone who can help make these gatherings consistently impactful, efficient, and memorable. The ideal candidate will be able to work with the marketing team and executive assistant to manage communications, promotional items, and work collaboratively to plan and execute our events. This includes but is not limited to evaluating and negotiating with vendors, collaborating with key stakeholders, managing communications, segmenting members, creating journeys in Salesforce, and attending events. Above all, the marketing coordinator must be comfortable in a leadership role that demands a creative, business-driven mindset and creating lasting relationships with local vendors.

Experience: 2+ years of event planning or managing company-sponsored events and budgets. 1-2+ years of experience designing and building marketing campaigns, creating content, executing campaign automation, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficient Salesforce experience is a must.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising/public relations, communications, or related field
Interpersonal Skills: Successful candidates are hungry, humble, and possess high emotional intelligence. They will possess strong verbal and written communication skills, will be self-motivated, able to achieve goals with minimal supervision, and will enjoy working both independently and in collaboration with other team members.
Other Skills: Background in marketing research, analytics, customer service, email marketing software/ technology, and able to run spreadsheets, word processing, and understand publishing software.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift at least 30 pounds.
