SUMMARY: The Marketing Intern is responsible for helping develop and execute communications on behalf of Baxter Health across multiple platforms of written and digital publications, web, and social media. This includes (but is not limited to): creative copy writing, press release writing, content creation, project management, event management, meeting coordination, photography, videography, vendor relations and marketing office support. The ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively with teams in media relations, communications, marketing and other departments is essential. Must be proactive and demonstrate good personal presentation, reliability, discipline, resourcefulness, creativity, good judgment, common sense and integrity.
BAXTER HEALTH COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Understands and adheres to Baxter Health standards as they appear in Dynamic Health and Healthstream Policy Manager. Required to work with the VP, Marketing and Communications regularly to carryout, initiate and/or implement best practices for the Baxter Health Marketing Department.JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent and working towards degree in marketing or related field.
Experience: Experience preferred but not required.
Other: Specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area: writing, photography, and basic graphic design.Primary Source Verification:

Must be able to handle highly stressful situations due to deadlines, goals and change in priorities due to uncontrollable outside factors with efficiency and composure.Work Environment
Work is performed both inside and outside the hospital office environment. Some travel is required.Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a position in a hospital setting which is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Flexible work schedule, 5 days a week, Monday – Friday, and some weekends required.About the company
