Five Below Summer Internship Program is ON! Our limited open positions for Summer 2024 focus on company strategic initiatives in the exciting environment of value driven, fun-focused retail. We are seeking energetic, responsible go-getters with innovative ideas, ready to actively participate in company initiatives.

We LOVE our interns! Our internship is curated to deliver a rich learning experience for both personal and professional growth. Our program is hands on, participating in meaningful work that directly effects the company’s success. You are an active contributor and valued as a part of your team!

Location:

In conjunction with WoWToWN’s current Ways of Working, we intend to offer a hybrid program for our interns, ensuring both a flexible and immersive experience. All applicants should plan to be in the Philadelphia area and access to our Home Office throughout the entirety of the program.

Internship Details:

• 10 weeks: June 3rd – August 9th

• Full time – 40 hours/wk

• Paid – $17/hr

• Greater Philadelphia location – on site/office requirements vary by internship position but should be generally considered hybrid. On average, an intern can expect to be in our home office 3 times per week.

Project Details:

At Five Below, our new marketing strategy focuses on a 3 pronged approach; seasonal, evergreen and trend stories. This project will focus on defining, documenting and operationalizing the evergreen process. This will involve collaborating with partners across departments including Digital Marketing, Creative, Merchandising and Visual.

The intern can expect to develop a strong process and way to execute Evergreen stories across Marketing channels.

· Help to define key points of collaboration between departments
· Document appropriate cadence and ways of working
· Templatize SKU requests and Marketing briefs for evergreen stories
· Help select & develop criteria for highlighting the most exciting product in Marketing
· Assist Marketing Strategy team in requesting evergreen assets for BTS ‘24

Requirements:

• Must be actively enrolled as an incoming Junior – Senior in a relevant Bachelor’s program (See Desired Skills).

• Minimum 3.0 GPA

• Must be comfortable with Microsoft Office products & remote meeting software

• Must have availability for the full 10-week program as space is limited

• Must be a self-starter, highly passionate & detail oriented

• Active ability to problem solve & communicate effectively

• Knowledge and passion for our brand is a plus!

Desired Skills:

• Area of Study: Marketing, Brand Marketing or similar

• Familiarity/Competency with the Microsoft Suite (Sharepoint, Powerpoint, Excel) preferred

• Strong Organizational Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
